Linwood Estate wishes a memorable and safe Thanksgiving season to all!

Linwood Estate wanted to update the COVID19 procedures. We shall continue to closely monitor government policy changes and mandates, CDC guidelines, and public health protocols.

COVID19 has affected everyone.  We all know someone who has been afflicted mentally, physically, or financially.  We are all working together to beat this virus!  Each day is a blessing, and we need to remain optimistic, especially during the holiday season.

In order to continue to safely operate Linwood Estate:

    1. The venue will remain open with a reduction in occupancy as well as maintain the existing physical distancing measure in place.  All guests shall wear face masks or shields until further notice.

    2. The management will monitor COVID19 data and execute the best practices to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.

    3. We shall encourage outdoor cocktail hour and dining with tables physically laid out to ensure proper social distancing.  For ventilation and proper air circulation, doorways/entries/exits will be opened as suggested by the CDC.

    4. In addition, we have health, hygiene, and distancing reminders throughout the property.  Guests are reminded to wash hands frequently, utilize hand sanitizing stations, social distance, and obtain free masks.

    5. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be worn by all associates in adherence to state and local regulations and guidance.

    6. Our venue uses cleaning products and protocols that meet EPA guidelines and are approved for effective use against viruses (including COVID19), bacteria, and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens.  Disinfection procedures are followed daily and during the event.  The cleaning protocol includes public and communal spaces.

To date, no staff or guest has exhibited signs of COVID19 nor has informed us of such infection.  We would like to keep that status.  Should you be an upcoming guest of Linwood Estate, please adhere to our guidelines.  We want to continue offering tours for prospective couples and other events.

Linwood Estate will continue to stay excited about the present and future.  We hope to radiate positivity and encourage random acts of kindness to all.  For example, smiles produce serotonin, which can reduce depression and anxiety.  We believe that smiles can be seen through masks and hope you spread a contagious smile every day to a stranger!

We are ecstatic that Governor Wolf has allowed Linwood Estate to reopen!  As a company, we made a commitment to ALL of our clients.  Linwood Estate has been proactive as social gathering guidelines have changed and impacted April, May, June, and July 2020 wedding dates.

We contacted the impacted clients and rescheduled events that were to occur in April, May, June, and July 2020.  In each instance, we had a personal discussion to mutually agree on what would be best for the couple and their guests.  Everyone was involved in the decision-making process.  The legal contracts for August 2020-December 2020 will remain as is.

This is a completely new and unforeseen issue for all of us, but Linwood Estate is committed to our clients and their happiness.  Now that we are open, we have spearheaded additional procedures to ensure client safety and satisfaction.

    SANITATION

    1. All areas of Linwood Estate were “deep cleaned” during the closure

    2. Education of staff on correct sanitation procedures

    3. We obtained additional disinfection and sanitation supplies

    DISTANCING

While it remains uncertain if this is necessary, we are prepared (in case we need) to continue to observe social distancing guidelines.

    1. Reorganizing venue space to provide increased space between guests throughout events

    2. Masks, disposable gloves, sanitizer stations if needed.  We shall continue to follow CDC, federal, state, and local municipality guidelines.

    VENDOR SUPPORT

    1. Continue dialogue with our vendors.

    2. Provide social distancing options to support entertainment options at weddings via DJs and photographers, etc. so all can fully enjoy the event.

Linwood Estate is grateful for the opportunity to host each event.  By working together, we can catapult each event as romantic, entertaining, and beautiful as our clients have always envisioned.  We are fortunate and super excited that our first post-COVID19 is June 27, 2020 is right around the bend.  We look forward to creating memories of a life time with each of our clients!

Good news! Starting on Friday May 22, we will begin property tours again!

Linwood Estate is located in Cumberland County, and as we enter into the state's "Yellow Phase" we are permitted to host socially distanced tours.

It has always been our common practice of ensuring your safety by deep cleaning the property after all events and we will continue doing so after each tour. Therefore, we will be spacing out tours to take additional time to thoroughly clean all surfaces so you can feel 100% at ease about viewing the property.

If you are still uncomfortable with visiting the property but interested in a tour, we are happy to host a virtual tour with you.

The gardens are in full bloom and we are excited to be sharing Linwood with you. Kindly complete the Contact Us form to speak with us about scheduling your visit.
